Our mission is to help parents understand how to interact with their children in the most meaningful way, what is happening developmentally with their children, connect them to community resources and support the family’s health and well being

Our Beginnings
Jodi Morris, the owner and parent educator for The Wise Owl Parenting Company, has raised two beautiful sons, one of which had been diagnosed with ADHD and Aspergers. This helped her understand the importance for parents to have help in times of need. After going back to school and receiving her bachelor in science for psychology at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC, She began working for Scotland County Partnership for Children and Families. After offering the Parents as Teachers and Motheread programs in Scotland County, she noticed a marked difference in her parents confidence, understanding and functioning as caregivers. She began thinking about Moore County parents and realized there was little support for parents in their homes. On July 4th, 2013, The Wise Owl Parenting Company was born and has been offering evidence-based curriculum ever since. Wise Owl is now a Sandhills Children's Development Services Agency provider, a member of the LICC and is welcoming new clients from all walks of parenthood, from pregnancy through the child's 5th birthday.
